Biography

Dr. Allison Jengehino is the Chair of Accounting.  Her B.S. and M.S. degrees are in Accounting and she has a Doctorate of Business Administration, all from Franklin University. 

Dr. Jengehino brings many skills to the COB as she has vast experience in financial accounting, management and accounting information systems and software.  She has worked on the implementation and adaptation of International Financial Reporting Standards and the impact on firms.  Her employment and educational focus has been on operational behavior management, extrinsic and intrinsic incentives, and the alignment of organization goals and employee benefits.

Her master's thesis focused on the integration and incorporation of the international accounting standard within the United States. Dr. Jengehino's doctoral dissertation provided research on the positive correlations between the existence of transformational behaviors in instructors within higher education and the increased intellectual stimulation of students.  For the past seven years, Dr. Jengehino has been an accounting instructor, teaching individual and corporate taxation, cost accounting, auditing and forensic accounting, multiple levels of financial accounting, and business finance for non-accounting graduate students. 

She has served as an adjunct for both 香港伦理 (since 2017) and Southern New Hampshire University since 2021.  Dr. Jengehino is also a licensed CPA and a member of both the AICPA and the NJCPA.
