Biography
Dr. Diane Bansbach has been a mathematics educator for over 30 years. She has taught 7th grade through college-level students in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. Her area of interest in mathematics is data science. She strongly adheres to growth mindset – all students are capable of learning mathematics – and promotes equitable, engaging teaching practices that makes learning accessible to all students.
She recently completed her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware where she defended her Educational Learning Portfolio, “Professional Development that Promotes Active Learning in Remedial Mathematics in Higher Education.” Her bachelor’s and master’s degrees are in Mathematics Education from Penn State and Villanova, respectively.
