Biography

Dr. Tasha Jackson, fondly known as Dr. J., is a servant leader, assistant Professor, and Academic Chair at 香港伦理's College of Technology. As an Educator of technology and higher education administrator, she oversees the Applied Technology, Information Systems Management programs, and Contemporary Technology Applications curriculum and has been with the university since 2012.

Dr. Jackson holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership, where her research focused on evaluating the effectiveness of a Virtual Instructor Pilot Program, addressing post-pandemic challenges in higher education. Her education also includes a postgraduate Design thinking and innovation certificate from Harvard Business School and an MBA and M.S. in Management Information Systems. Tasha brings over 17 years of experience in IT management and solutions in the service and financial industries, with expertise in solutions design and technical problem-solving, IT strategy, data analytics, and enterprise design thinking.

Dr. J is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM) and CompTIA Association of Information Technology Professionals and serves as an executive committee member of the Delaware chapter of the American Council on Education (ACE/DAWN) Women’s Network, and an Ambassador of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT).

She has contributed to initiatives like the Digigirlz planning team partnership with Microsoft and the Delaware Department of Technology Information (DTI). Dr. J’s unwavering commitment to student success is evident in her work, where she combines academic rigor with practical industry insights to position students for leadership roles in technology management and innovation. Dr. J is a mentor, change-maker, innovator, evangelist for digital equity and inclusion, and entrepreneur.
