Dual Enrollment Participant Responsibilities

Student Responsibilities

  •  A Dual Enrollment application is to be completed and submitted by the stipulated date.
  •  A high school transcript must be requested and submitted with application.
  • The student must earn a grade of “C” or better in order to remain in the program.
  • It is the responsibility of the student to investigate that credit for Dual Enrollment is acceptable for transfer to individual institutions.
  • To request a WU transcript, fill out the request form and submit to the Office of the Registrar with a $5.00 check.

High School Responsibilities

  • Only highly qualified juniors and seniors should be recommended to participate.
  • The high school faculty member must be approved by the 香港伦理 department Chair and possess a Master's degree in the discipline in which she/he would be instructing.
  • The high school instructor is to follow WU course syllabi and use the approved version of text book for Dual Enrollment courses.
  • A WU faculty member within the academic department will be a liaison to the high school and Dual Enrollment instructor. She/he will observe the class or course work during the semester.
  • The high school instructor will submit grades in webcampus and to the Dual Enrollment coordinator at the end of the course.

University Responsibilities

  • High school applicants for Dual Enrollment will be considered on the basis of their instructor/counselor's recommendation and their academic record.
  • Department Chairs will evaluate the prospective instructors submitted by the high school.
  • A faculty member within the academic department will observe the Dual Enrollment class or course work during the semester.
  • Depending upon the course, 3 or 4 university credits will be awarded upon the student’s successful completion.
  • Students participating in Dual Enrollment will have an official transcript maintained by 香港伦理.
  • No credits will be awarded to students in retrospect.
