The University complies with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in the university's programs and activities; the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), as amended by the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA), which, with Title IX, governs this policy related to the University’s response to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”); and other applicable statutes, to include Delaware H.B. 1.

Persons who have complaints alleging violations of sexual harassment, including sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking, may file their complaints with the University’s Title IX Coordinator. All other forms of harassment and/or discrimination should be reported to the Human Resources Department.
